		<description>LOTL actually had a really intricate and compelling mythology for such a low-budget and frankly lame show. Plus they had the sleestak--total ace in the hole there. 

I hear British folks talk about how they would hide behind the couch every time the Daleks appeared on Dr. Who, but I&#039;d be willing to bet that a Sleestak sighting would have sent them scampering out of the house into the back garden. 

I suspect &quot;Sleestak&quot; is from the old English meaning &quot;piles of nightmare fuel&quot;! :)</description>
