If only I’d seen this 30 years ago and learned how to talk to girls, how very different my life would be today.

Ohhhhh! Be yourself! Now I’m gonna just stare at their boobs and chronically masterbate, just like I always wanted to. Thanks Alex and Annie!

Alex and Annie: where have these two been all of my life? I don’t ever remember seeing them on TV, and I spent my formative years glued to the tube.
I love that first bit of animation ; was that little boy cross dressing?

OMG! I remember this now, but I don’t remember what channel broadcast it. Yikes! I guess kids were too stupid to figure out which one was Alex and which one was Annie without them wearing it on their shirts.

Interesting to note one of the people who created these shorts was the late composer Lynn Ahrens, who also worked on “Seussical”, “Schoolhouse Rock” and “Anastasia”.
According to her official site, these shorts were nominated for an Emmy!

Not to correct you, LaDracul, but I think Ahrens is still very much alive. She’s a lovely person who did a tremendous job with a workshop for our musical theater students at the school where I taught…unless you have some insider info (and I really hope you don’t!
)…
