You gotta devote about 3 minutes of your time to look at this short film. Trust me, it’s worth it. Creepy, eerie, and unsettling are three words that come to mind. Exactly what kind of drugs do you need to be on to dream this stuff up? Even so, I love it!

Done here? These fine folks will take good care of you!

Stumble it!

What the hell is that all about?
You guys are setting up some future Traumafessions with that one!
What the hell.

That was pretty interesting.
First thoughts: This movie is about bulemia. OK, work with me here. She asks for a cake, which she seemed unhappy about, then asks for a kite so she can go running (to burn off the calories?) and then asks for more food, which in turn ends up consuming her.
They keep showing her legs in comparison with the pencil, as to say she’s pencil thin.
Just a thought.
I’m sure I’m way off base, but that’s instantly what came to mind when I watched this very cool little short.

The bulimia theory flies, with the exclusion of the fact that it seems like the pencil is the one coming up with the things it wants.
I think he just wanted to feed some Lovecraftian Elder God in another dimension, hence why he was like, “This chick might not be able to draw a lollipop properly, so I’m just going to get her to draw one.”

Just looking at the framegrab is giving me the creeps! And that “playground music” was creepy as well. I had a feeeling that when she drew the pinwheel lollypop that came out as a black cone, it was a black hole. When she was sucked in the smiling pencil had this “Sucker!” look on its face.

HorrorCat, I would argue that if the pencil was coming up with the ideas, she was following them because of its pencil thin stature. Like, her goal was to be built like that, therefore she sort of followed what it did.
But I dig the Elder thing!

I’m 100% convinced they used real human teeth for the pencil face.
I kept expecting Frank from Donnie Darko to show up.

You could be right, Unk. I’m just stuck on how she kept wanting food. I mean, she’s a young girl, but still, it’s an overwhelming theme.

I took this as….the girl getting eated up by her desires….like she was abusing the pencil and got paid back because she was too greedy? I dunno, whatever it is, it’s weird and creepola. Thanks for sharing that

Good call on the bulimia tip Amanda! The music is what really got me, so dang creepy. I thought the pencil, despite its overbite, is kinda cute.

Glad to see all the positive comments about this creepy little film. I knew I couldn’t be the only one who thought it was traumatic! Oh, and Amanda, I think you nailed it with the eating disorder theory.

Spongebob, lol I love this site, you guys are hilarious! I saw a movie back in the early 90′s called Terrifying Tales, direct to video, kinda creepy but el-cheap-o-cabra in the budget department!
