Kindertrauma Funhouse: Doing Time At The Overlook

With winter approaching I am now planning my annual trip to the Overlook Hotel. One thing I’ve learned not to bother packing is my concept of time. Can you put the below images from THE SHINING in the correct order as they occurred in the film? (For example: 1=K) There, I’ve gotten you started ( 2-11 are yours to do.), now I must go and finish my novel; it’s about how all work and no play makes ya kinda dull…

    I agree about the Tang, I have not had it in years but now I want some. I believe they have stopped making Grape flavored, which is sad.

    Thanks for the vid, Unk. I remember that running when I was a young’un, and brought back some nice memories. But like yourself, I’m now hankerin’ for some TANG (being older now, I realize how dirty that sounds).
    As a small child who always wanted to be an astronaut, TANG was where it was at!

    O.K I’m going to put you all out of your misery early today because I have to go out…

    I know I said that we were going to have a random drawing for the winner but I think we should give it to Taylor for being the only one correct
    plus Taylor has never won before…

    where Wendy’s yellow coat radio call is Saturday!
    Good job all though
    Nobody fell for “The car ride(e)” happened before “the peanut butter sandwich(d)” as I had planned….rats!
    I guess we’ve all seen this one way too many times to fall for that!

    What do you think is the scariest scene in THE SHINING?
    I have to go with the guy in the dog costume…
    That is such a moment of complete unexplained insanity (at least in the movie it’s not explained, in the novel it is) that when I first saw THE SHINING it really freaked me out
    Wendy coming up the stairs, the music, it’s just a crescendo of scary!
    I was lucky enough to see this on the big screen again a couple of years back and it so damn amazing still.
    No matter how many times I watch it I think so.

    Dangit. F scene before scene I!
    As for my favorite scene, upon first seeing the movie as a wee tyke, the blood flood out of the elevator freaked me out. Now, it’s been ruined by The Simpsons, because all I can think when I see that scene is “Hmm, that’s odd. The blood usually gets off at the second floor.”

    Drats, and I was so very certain I had it right!  Ah well, good going, Taylor!  I’m with ya on the blood flood, Chris.  While this didn’t necessarily scare me, it is my first memory of this movie.  Watched at a friends house at age 5 on one of those big console TVs, I remember that image so vividly.  It had me entranced and weirded out at the same time.
