Hey, everyone. I was worried I might have been a little too obscure with some of these, but you guessed most of them correctly.

1. It is indeed Night Child, unkle lancifer! Currently on Amazon Prime for anyone who hasn’t seen it yet – I really like it

2. We movie fans can get a little too obsessive with our references, if you know what I mean.

3. The House That Dripped Blood – correct Matt Sunshine!

4. There aren’t many horror films shot in Omaha.

5. Silent Night, Deadly Night 3 – correct, gonzo72!

6. Yes, again, unkle lancifer, it’s Amityville 3-D!

7. House by the Cemetery- yes, kathryngrace!

8. The Funhouse indeed, Matt Sunshine!

9. It is Mausoleum, kathryngrace!

10. Yes, Curse of the Cat People, Matt Sunshine!

I thought #4 would be difficult. It is Kolobos, a regional horror film shot in Nebraska, that went straight to video in the late 90s. I don’t think it ever played theaters. It would probably have been forgotten, but the folks at Arrow Video discovered the movie and gave it their usual excellent reissue treatment.

I watched it for the first time just a few weeks ago, thanks to Arrow’s streaming service, and really liked it. Kolobos doesn’t imitate popular horror films, the way many DTV films do, but has its own ideas, and a regional flavor. Linnea Quigley even makes a cameo appearance.

Thanks, everyone!
