Totally stumped!

Welp… this one kicked my ass. The top bumper is the only one that I knew, and none of the others even register as familiar. This list mimics my failure at life.

Oops… and I agree with Unk, Near Dark.

#3: Witches of Eastwick!

I . . . don’t recognize or remember the titles for the rest.

Thanks a lot Lance, I really appreciate it. I think it’s great that you’re playing along.

ANSWERS:

Top Bumper – Near Dark by…Our Very Own Unkle Himself

5. The Witches of Eastwick – JamesY thanks for playing

And Lance, I’m sorry #3 is NOT The House That Dripped Blood. However, I sincerely believe you have at least one more in you.

I only have hunches but they’re not official guesses

3) reminds me of The Woman In Black

6) reminds me of Laura Palmer’s living room

8) reminds me of Regan getting her medical tests
in The Exorcist

But I’m sure none of these are correct

@Lance
Totally understand how you would come to think those are good guesses. And they are, they just happen to be…wrong.

But you are on the right track for #2 and I still feel you’ve got the will to squeeze one more out.

Bludd
Knowing all those films you guessed and knowing all the answers, I can also see why you posted those guesses. They’re wrong though. Still, you have an awesome name and I feel positive if you keep trying you won’t regret it.

#8 is NOT from The Exorcist as that’s way too advanced for 1973. Still, I KNOW I’ve seen the movie the image is really from before. I just can’t put my finger on it.

Thanks everyone for playing!

@Lynette Fromme
Really good guess, totally see what you mean.

I’m going to try and wait to give out the answers (hopefully Lance won’t mind) as these usually get finished so quick it seems, and give people who’ve been at work and maybe have not had a chance to see it. Feel free to toss out some guesses, as you’ve made some good ones.

I can see why Lance is amazed at this every week.

Some more answers:

1.

2.

3. SYMPTOMS – alright Brother Bill, tough one

4.

5. THE WITCHES OF EASTWICK

6.

7. THE BLACKCOAT’S DAUGHTER – JennyD13 cool, I was worried no one would get this

8.

9. THE STRANGER WITHIN – Brother Bill again!

10. DON’T TORTURE A DUCKLING – crabbymoon, 1 post and he gets it!

Top – NEAR DARK

Bottom –

Another by !!crabbymoon!! – you are actually awesome.

1. THE STEPFORD WIVES

@unkle lancifer
That’s another couple amazing guesses. Seriously Lance, you are so on the right track with #2 you’ve just gotta get this one.

Does anyone want me to drop some more clues?

I always see complaints indicating the game closed before they made it to the site, I just wanted to give as many folks a chance to join in.

Hey Lance,

Check your email ok.

And I’m sorry, #8 is incorrect, but it’s easy to see why you chose that. Everyone guesses were so good.

Is #2 maybe RZ’s Halloween 2?

JennyD13

Screw it, is the bottom bumper Annabelle? I’d guess The Blue Man aka Eternal Evil for #8, but I’m pretty sure that it’s not based on a book…

Maybe #2 is Tales of Halloween, possibly?
