This was a fun one. I was 12 in 1982, and just about all I did was look at ads for new movies in the paper. What a bumper crop of a year.

Every friday morn I feel like a little kid who just paid his nickel (no I'm not quite that old) and has run through the carnival gates… the scents of popcorn, cotton candy, and a hint of burning carousel….
I knew what these cats knew, 20 in all, not too shabby…. I'll give the other kids time to play. Thanks auntie John & unca Lancifer!
Also, just sayin', 24 is one of my favorite movies of all time, seeing 36 when it first came out- thank you, Fangoria, and weird coincidence I knew of 38 when it came out, ha ha, never saw it, but a friend gave me this film encyclopedia (Images in the Dark) a couple days ago & there it was, in my brain again.
