Well #7 is LAST HOUSE ON DEAD END STREET – which is a great, really effective film and one of my favorites.

I’m getting a real MARTYRS (2008 original) vibe from #1 but I can’t be sure. Is this a list of famously “extreme” films?

I’ll take another guess and say #2 is EDEN LAKE. That was another one-and-done for me but it was a movie that definitely made an impression. Fassbinder acts his butt off in that one. It also seems to fit the theme.

I’m also pretty sure that #3 is IRREVERSIBLE. It fits the theme FOR SURE. Although I probably WILL go back and watch that one someday because Noe is just so good. Still, it’s a tough watch.

1 MARTYRS on the nose Dr. Nick! Such a brilliant movie that should be thrown onto outer space. And yes these are all extreme movies that were way to mean to me.
2 EDEN LAKE= the damn meanest ending of all time imo=
3 IRREVERSABLE= spot on Dr Nick this movie TERRIFIED me from the get-go..
4 CANNIBAL HOLOCAUST= a turtles’s least favorite move! yay DDD
5 ANTICHRIST = Is the “what does the fox say?” song based on this movie? DDD!
6 THE GIRL NEXT DOOR= I can’t believe I read this book. I must hate myself. You got it MM!
7 LAST HOUSE ON DEAD END STREET= can you believe this free on Tubi right now? Love it too but it truly disturbs me- those masks! Help, Dr. NIck!!!
8 HEREDITARY= the dog barking in this movie flipped my wig inside out. Triple D!
9 HENRY: POASK= this movie made me worried for my mom,. Yikes! DDD!
10 REQUIEM FOR A DREAM= even the title can break my heart! Yay Matt S!
Dr. Nick FRONTIERS!!!!! I swear on the holy bible that I thought of this one last night and made a mental note to replace one of these for it and then forgot to do it this morning! FRONTIERS is excellent and painful as hell.
O’K, I’m glad I got these out of my system!!! Very cathartic! Though I’m still feeling the creeps.
