Frightmare was one of the VHS boxes I was fascinated by as a kid – strangely I never rented it and still have never seen the movie. I’d forgotten all about the From Beyond the Grave art, but the similarity is remarkable!
I saw Frightmare in the theater. If I remember correctly it was PG. The big stand out scene was a rolling decapitated head. I tried to watch it years later and was kind of bored by it but I think it’s time to try it again. It does sport a young Jeffrey Combs. The thing is, it’s a troma dvd so I’m assuming it looks like crap, I wish they’d just let other companies distribute movies if they’re not going to put any effort into it.

And I’m gonna mostly agree with you on the top 3, unk. TCM, Alone in the Dark, and The Mutilator.
Yes, The Mutilator is pretty darn great but I have to pick EVIL SPEAK because scary pigs come out of the ground in that one.Recently I found a beautiful old laserdisc of EVILSPEAK and I’ve hung it up on the wall.

I forgot about those pigs… I need to give that movie a rewatch. Wow, laserdiscs were like frisbees for sadists! Where did you manage to find one of Evilspeak? That’s a pretty nice find.
For some reason when I came on here yesterday only the first two pics would come up. No matter cuz I was stymied here! Only #6 looked really really familar!
Ive seen most of these movies but the cover art must not have been partuiclarly memorable for me. Hmmmmm.
By the way, I love EVILSPEAK! Its probably not a really good movie but theres just something THERE, you know? And it amuses me to no end that the only person (aside from Clint Howard and a puppy) in it whose not total scum is that dude who played Dwayne on WHATS HAPENINGĂ‚Â Hey HEY Hey!
