6 is Toolbox Murders
1 is from I’m Dangerous Tonight-?
And I know 2 is from a Tales from the Crypt episode but I can’t remember the name of it.
Is 8 Funhouse?
Kathy13 is cleaning up!
6 = THE TOOLBOX MURDERS
1 = I’m Dangerous Tonight
2= TALES FROM THE CRYPT “Dead Wait”
8= THE FUNHOUSE
Good eye Kathy13!
BTW- That Wanda Thatcher character referenced in the “I’m Dangerous tonight” image is played by a nearly unrecognizable DEE WALLACE vamping it up in a brunette wig.
If Whoopi Goldberg isn’t saying “You in danger, girl,” then I don’t know what it is.
Note: I’m bad at these but wanted to participate.
I’m just guessing here:
#3 Freddy’s Nightmares -1st episode
Oh that whoopsie!
You nailed #3 ! FREDDY’S NIGHTMARES episode #1 “No More Mr Nice Guy”
Sorry if these are too tough! I gotta say it wasn’t easy finding an image from TCM that wasn’t instantly recognizable but it’s up there!
Hey wait, isn’t that Neville Brand behind that lamp?
#5 Eaten Alive
#5 = EATEN ALIVE
There are some clues in those photos
like the fence in #7
and the license plate in # 9
And the mark in the metal in #10
#4 Texas Chainsaw Massacre
#9-Uk license plates? Lifeforce?
Big yes on #4 being TCM…
and EXCELLENT detective work on #9- LIFEFORCE!
That is how it’s done!
🙂 🙂 🙂
7 is INVADERS FROM MARS, methinks.
10 is absolutely TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE 2.
Hope these close out Hooper’s Cannon Films tenure.
7 = INVADERS FROM MARS.
and 10 is TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE 2!
That’s all ten!
Nice job. Thanks to all who helped!
I should have known 5! The lighting in that film is really distinct-the whole film has this sort of dusty/dirty, eerie glow about it…I’m mad at myself for missing that and 4. And 3 seems kind of obvious now, but I’d forgotten he directed some of Freddy’s Nightmares; I haven’t seen that show in years-I can’t find it anywhere now. 🙁
Don’t sweat it Kathy13! You hit more than your share of home runs here! Excellent work! 🙂
And you’re right EATEN ALIVE has a look like no other! It’s like dusty and neon at the same time and almost seems like it’s filmed on a stage.
Thanks! And yeah, I think my favorite thing about that film is it’s just all around vibe, which the film’s look plays a big part in.
Also, it’s funny that I haven’t seen Funhouse in years, and only have vague memories of it, but somehow clearly remember the bathroom of all things…
